Get Ready to Ride!
Ride for Autism Registration is Open
Robbinsville, NJ – Registration is open for the Ride for Autism, Autism New Jersey’s annual cycling event and fundraiser. The Ride will take place June 8, 2019, with early registration discounts now available. The event will help further the organization’s mission of ensuring safe and fulfilling lives for individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them.
“The goal of the Ride for Autism is to raise awareness about, and also raise funds for, Autism New Jersey, which serves as an invaluable resource for individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them,” said Andy Abere, founder and director of the Ride for Autism. “I know, because my family is one of those families.”
The Ride for Autism is a one-day charity bicycle tour that takes place at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. SAG support is available, fully stocked rest stops are provided, and a catered lunch is included with registration.
With five different distance options from 10 to 100 miles, there is a route for any cyclist. Whether you are casual rider or a serious athlete, you can help the 1 in 34 individuals in New Jersey diagnosed with autism and raise community awareness.
Since its inception in 2001, the ride has raised over $880,000 to support our efforts to put information in the hands of parents, ensure proper education and training for service providers, and address policy issues.
